🗓️ 23 days, 7 games: Opportunity knocks for Liverpool to show their title credentials in the next month
The Reds face into another hectic period in between international breaks, and now is the time to truly hammer home their claims to be genuine title contenders
Eight matches into the season, Liverpool look well placed to make a sustained challenge for the Premier League title, having already ticked off away fixtures against the likes of Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham and Brighton.
Over the next month, the Reds face four top-flight games against opponents who currently sit 13th or lower, with three of those taking place at Anfield, where Jurgen Klopp’s side have only lost once in front of their fans in the league in the past six-and-a-half years.
Opportunity therefore seems to knock for LFC to lay down a marker of intent in the title race between now and mid-November, with a gap of just three points to make up on current leaders Tottenham.
