A history of Liverpool players at the European Championship

With Euro 2024 just days away, we look back at every Liverpool player to have featured in previous editions of the tournament.

Liverpool will have nine players involved at Euro 2024 over the coming month, with those Reds representing six different nations.

As one of the most successful clubs in Europe, it comes as no surprise that the Merseysiders have had plenty of representation in the continent’s biggest tournament over the years, with some of those going on to win the competition outright.

With the big kick-off in Germany now just a week away, we take a look back at every LFC player to have featured at the European Championship since the first edition more than 60 years ago.

All in all, Liverpool have had 59 players at the tournament representing 16 different nations, with 26 goals between them and four men winning the trophy while with the Reds.
