🔴EOTK INSIDER: Behind the scenes ESL revelations; Konate deal DONE for £32m; Kabak's bravery earns brilliant new song & the best UEFA rant you'll ever read🔴
What - a - week. Where do we begin? You can start by signing up, now!
Ok, so the past week has been pretty intense, hasn’t it?
Last time I brought you one of these, I was wondering what pub to try out on the weekend and if I could be bothered with ordering beer via QR code…
The Leeds United game was coming up - the top four race was important.
Then all of a sudden, Nuclear Footballing War. No time for QR code Beer.
The emergence and collapse of the ESL, which Liverpool were shamefully a driving part of, has changed everything.
FSG have shown who they really are (they had before, really, but I, like a cuckolded spouse, just fell for the apologies).
So what next? Well - here’s five of the biggest EOTK Liverpool stories of the past few days, including some exclusive transfer news, to keep you in the loop. Maybe we should start doing these a little more regularly - given last Friday feels like I was reporting on a different sport.
(Also - sign up to this. I want it to grow, and I need your help, please!)
YES YES YES - The best rant on the ‘orrible Sky Sports and UEFA hypocrisy you’ll ever read…
This my favourite article of the week. It’s maybe my favourite article ever. I cannot believe how Sky Sports have managed to get away with their righteous indignation of the ESL when they’re basically the problem in the first place.
For one American owner at one of the Big Six, it’s all got too much… They tried to steal our game, now they’re leaving with tails between legs
No ESL means no guaranteed profit means no more owning of English football club.
Ummm.. Good? I don’t think it’s FSG, most likely Stan Kroenke at Arsenal. Their fans will be buzzing.
JW Henry was the man the ESL wanted to front its cause.. but he refused and only spoke to offer a grieving apology. Whoops
Hey John, next time you want to make a huge change to Liverpool FC, just run it by at least ONE person closely connected to the club. How about, I dunno, Jurgen Klopp?!
Ozan Kabak’s new song is such a pumper that we should sign him on a 10-year deal just so we can hear it on the Kop for the next decade
Remember before the season started and that Thiago tune was in everyone’s head for weeks? Well, listen to this.
The Turk should be signed based on this alone.
But we’ve also gone and got another 21-year-old centre-back, as the Ibrahima Konate deal is done and dusted…
Someone close to us, who has worked with EOTK, has told us this is done and dusted for £32m. She’s reliable. Completely. She was one of the main reporters breaking the ESL news as the competition collapsed. So Konate is ours next term. Cool!
