📊EOTK Stats Pack: Liverpool v Fulham - Form guide, Mo Salah's relentless goalscoring and MORE
We analyse some of the key stats and info ahead of the first of six Premier League games Liverpool will face during a hectic December!
December is upon us, which brings with it one of the most frantic months of the football season.
Liverpool welcome Fulham to Anfield this afternoon in the first of three Premier League games this week (and six this month) for Jurgen Klopp’s side, who play eight matches across all competitions over the next 24 days.
The Reds go into today’s match buoyed by a good result and performance away to Manchester City last weekend, and a 4-0 trouncing of LASK which helped to ensure their passage straight to the Europa League round of 16 as Group E winners.
However, the feel-good factor from those results has been diluted by injuries to Alisson Becker and Diogo Jota, who’ll both be missed over the coming weeks.
Thankfully, the likes of Caoimhin Kelleher and Cody Gakpo have already stepped up in the absence of the Portuguese-speaking duo, and they’ll be tasked with continuing to produce the goods in forthcoming games.
Liverpool will hope for just as comfortable a day at Anfield as what they had on Thursday, although Marco Silva’s Fulham will have other ideas.
Ahead of this afternoon’s clash, let’s take a look at the form guide for both teams, as well as their head-to-head Premier League record, and explore how Mo Salah’s scoring return this season measures up against the Cottagers’.
