📊EOTK Stats Pack: Liverpool v Toulouse - Form guide, key info and MORE
We analyse some of the key stats and info ahead of Liverpool's third Europa League group stage clash, with Toulouse paying a first visit to Anfield in 16 years
Anfield hosts the second of three matches in nine days tonight as Toulouse visit Liverpool for the teams’ Europa League group stage encounter.
It’s a meeting of the top two in Group E, with the Reds boasting a 100% record after their first couple of games and the Ligue 1 club in second place with four points from a possible six.
As ever in the group stage of European competitions, the middle two fixtures pit the same clubs against each other in a double header, so a pair of wins for Jurgen Klopp’s side would guarantee progression - and possibly top spot depending on other results - by the end of matchday four.
Liverpool go into the game buoyed by a return to winning ways in the Premier League courtesy of a third straight 2-0 Anfield triumph against Everton, and as ever for this tournament, the Reds boss will likely make numerous changes to his line-up.
Curtis Jones has one more game to serve in his domestic suspension so he could start, while summer signing Wataru Endo might also be called in. Caoimhin Kelleher missed the last European match with a slight injury but he’s likely to come in for Alisson Becker here, while England under-21 duo Harvey Elliott and Jarell Quansah may also start.
