#Ep39 of The Red Nets Podcast: Should we be worried about Mo Salah? Previewing Brighton... and more! 🎙️

Join Farrell Keeling, Peter Kenny Jones, Ste Carson and special guest Charlie Haffenden for the official podcast of the Empire of the Kop

There’s no such thing as an easy ride in the Premier League, even with Liverpool enjoying the kind of form they are in the English top-flight, and Jurgen Klopp will certainly be making sure his men don’t underestimate the threat posed by Brighton.

Helping us dissect the Seagulls and how Graham Potter’s men could look to set up against us on Saturday, freelance journalist, Charlie Haffenden, shared his thoughts.

In amongst that, we at EOTK Insider took a look at:

  • Did Liverpool play poorly against Inter Milan? And does the Serie A not get the respect it deserves?

  • Do we need to be worried about Mohamed Salah? Specifically regarding his form and contract…

  • The future of Liverpool-linked midfielder Yves Bissouma…

  • AND MORE!

Following Fabrizio Romano’s latest update on Salah’s contract talks with Liverpool - breaking after the recording of this latest instalment of The Red Nets Podcast concluded - it would appear that we’re set for another contract rollercoaster.

It’s hard to imagine the Egyptian international ever leaving the club and we’d like to think that some solution will be reached.

Liverpool do have a clear structure they like to follow, however, which could mean that the unspeakable does occur either at the end of the season or when the 29-year-old’s contract runs out in the summer of 2023.

We’ll be keeping track of the story as it develops and will be back with plenty more debate when the next update comes.

Until then - take care!
