PSG may have just handed Liverpool an £18m solution this month 🤝
The Parisians are said to be looking at offloading a number of players this month, with one in particular standing out.
Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to axe several of their first-team players this month.
That’s according to Spanish outlet MARCA, who claim one of the men up for the block is forward Julian Draxler.
Liverpool have been linked with several moves for Germany international, with the most notable saga coming in 2017.
Jurgen Klopp was an admirer of the 27-year-old at the time and wanted him at Anfield, but he chose PSG.
As explained by Times journalist Paul Joyce, the Liverpool boss wasn’t interested in stop-gaps and swiftly shifted his attention elsewhere.
But with the Reds now arguably in need of another option up-front, Draxler’s apparent appearance in the transfer market window is eye-catching.
Xherdan Shaqiri is believed to be on the verge of signing for Lyon, which means Liverpool could use another body.
Draxler, who Transfermarkt value at £18 million, may be available on a cut-price fee this summer, which simply can’t be ignored.
If Liverpool are keen on adding an extra forward to their squad this month at an affordable rate, they could do a lot worse than the PSG man.
