With one signing officially (pending a work permit) in the bag in RB Leipzig’s extremely highly-rated centre-half Ibrahima Konate, Liverpool are reportedly setting their sights on further transfers.
Having secured the Frenchman’s signature, after months of non-stop links and speculation, our minds have since been racing with all the possibilities open to us once the transfer window shutters officially pull up on June 9th.
It’s fair to say that there have been a few interesting developments in that regard, with Youri Tielemans emerging as a potential target to compete alongside the likes of Yves Bissouma and Florian Neuhaus for Georginio Wijnaldum’s now vacant spot in the squad.
While all three are certainly fabulous candidates to slip into the indestructible Dutchman’s boots, it remains unclear, at this point in time, whether Liverpool’s attraction to the Leicester City star is as developed (if at all) as our reported interest in Bissouma.
Last week, we shared your thoughts (thousands of them!) on whether Ruben Neves might make a decent signing to fill the void left by our ex-No.5 but we’ve since turned our attention to the forward line.
Once near immune to scrutiny in their combined brilliance, the form of the front-three - albeit, excusing Mohamed Salah to a certain degree - had nosedived somewhat before producing a strong end to the season.
While the jury is still out on the fate of Roberto Firmino, we know there’s no chance of either Sadio Mane or our No.11 joining Wijnaldum in making a summer exit this year - nor should there be, as Klopp wants to get the best out of the Senegalese again next term.
Nonetheless, it’s clear to all that we could really do with adding a new face to the mix and, hopefully, replicating Diogo Jota’s instant impact after making the switch from Wolves last summer.
As ever seems to be the case, we ended up returning to Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund and their veritable treasure trove of up-and-coming talents.
As such, we thought we’d put it to a vote once again over two special, young players, one of whom we’ve had an update on from one of our sources.
Time will undoubtedly tell what kind of forward we end up investing in, however, and we here at EOTK insider will be keeping our ears to the ground to find you all the latest and best Liverpool updates.

EOTK Insider’s source hints at potential destination for Liverpool-linked Dortmund star
Fans had their say on who they wanted more out of Jude Bellingham and one other highly sought-after Bundesliga attacker. We’d have laughed off suggestions at the start of the season of either joining us in the summer window, though our reliable source’s update has certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons. We fit the bill, it’s just a question of whether or not Liverpool will put their money where their mouth is.
Liverpool’s bid for a Premier League attacker looks phoney… but we’re considering a 21-goal monster from Serie A
Speaking of forwards… we’ve been reportedly keen on one of our rival’s frontmen for some time now. While we’d love to see agent Firmino mercilessly text his close friend into submission, our interest in another young goalscorer seems more actionable. As memory serves, we didn’t too badly last time we dug out a high-flying hitman from the Italian top-flight, did we?
Liverpool could be set to announce their second summer signing soon after national coach's big reveal
We know you’re probably sick to the back teeth of hearing about all these forwards we’re reportedly tracking but one striker’s future could be resolved pretty soon, which may allow Liverpool to reveal the identity of their second signing. We at EOTK Insider have been admiring this man for some time now. If we want goals, there’s a good chance we’ll find lots of them with this 27-goal star leading the line.
Jurgen Klopp could be set to make the biggest transfer mistake of his career… AGAIN
After making what was, in hindsight, a daft decision to go ahead with the 2020/21 campaign without investing in a new defender, Liverpool have been quick to correct their earlier error in purchasing one of Europe’s finest talents in Ibrahima Konate. One might have assumed, however, that the experience would encourage Jurgen Klopp and the recruitment team to be more cautious going forward… it seems that the lesson may not have been learned.
And last but not least…
Liverpool could look to one Manchester United star to bolster our goalkeeping options
Just to shake things up a bit, we’re transitioning all the way back down the pitch straight to between the sticks. Don’t worry, Reds, Alisson Becker’s No.1 spot isn’t under any threat but it certainly pays to be cautious considering his recent injury record. Adrian’s great and all, but there’s a handful of potential options we should be looking at, just in case disaster strikes.
